Gold price rose above 1300 USD

GOLD futures feb deliveryGold price rose above the psychological barrier of 1,300 USD per ounce for the first time since August amid investors’ appetite for assets havens in view of the political and economic uncertainty in Europe. The futures on the gold with delivery in February rose to 1,300.30 USD per ounce, considering the daily increase of 0.47 per cent. The level is the highest since 12th August 2014. Meanwhile silver with March delivery rose by 1.68% to 18.258 USD per ounce, which in turn is the highest level since 10th September 2014.
